Soooo much to catch up on...

Looking back, I see that it's been about two months since the Hall Monitor got an update. That's shameful. I blame the only thing I can blame...global warming.

I could spend several hours recapping what's been going on in our busy lives, but I know that mostly, our Internet friends and family want to see Jaxson. I've got pictures...lots of them to share, actually, so I'll try to keep this textually brief.

However, you should know that Jaxson is an expert puller-upper, or up-puller, or person that can pull up on his own. We find him getting into more and more things these days. Fortunately, he understands the word "No". Sometimes, he gets a more respectful, "No, sir!" or when he's really bad, he gets his full name, "Jaxson Kyle!". He'll usually stop what he's doing when we get on to him.

He's a good baby, that's for sure. We're very lucky.

Also, Jaxson is standing up on his own. He's getting close to taking steps, but he'll stand sometimes for 30 seconds or so. Usually, he'll stand up pretty well until he realizes that's what he's doing. He'll then panic and fall.

More importantly (and Tara thinks, more traumatically), Jaxson got his first haircut on Saturday. His long flowing locks are gone, replaced by a shorter "boy cut". He looks more like me than ever. Tara got pretty emotional about the whole thing, but all in all, the whole family did well.

Well, as you can tell, we are still here, and doing great. Here's some pictures to let you catch up.
